The classrooms affiliated with the College of Education/Tigi were opened based on University Council Resolution No. (1) dated 1/18/2015 AD. It includes the following departments: (classroom teacher, kindergarten, physical education) that are compatible with the requirements of the labor market in the educational and educational field and began accepting new students and hosted displaced students from the areas of (Kakla - Al-Rabita - Wadi Al-Hay - Al-Qawalish - Bir Ghani) for the academic year 2014/ Last 2015, she succeeded in the mission entrusted to her, thanks to God Almighty • The Government of National Accord’s Cabinet Decision No. (19) was issued to establish the College of Education in Al-Asabaa among the colleges affiliated with Gharyan University on 6/4/2017 AD.
Description
The College of Education Al-Asabaa is one of the colleges of Gharyan University. It seeks to provide distinguished educational programs and prepare and qualify students to be able to teach efficiently in the various stages of education as a contribution to community service.
Vision
The vision is to ensure that the Al-Asabaa College of Education is the most distinguished in the field of teacher preparation, educationally and scientifically, so that it is able to raise the level of intermediate and basic education in Libyan society.
Message
Accommodating those wishing to attain education at the college, and providing appropriate opportunities for them on sound scientific and educational foundations, in order to build distinguished scientific cadres capable of performing the mission of education, in a manner consistent with the requirements of the labor market and providing the scientific and educational research and consultations necessary to develop the educational process in its various stages.
Goals
• Preparing academically and pedagogically qualified teachers in various specializations to meet the needs of educational institutions • Preparing training programs and courses for in-service teachers. • Contributing to the development of school curricula in cooperation with specialists in the field of education. • Contributing to developing the educational system and spreading cultural awareness in accordance with the policies that society sets for this system and the goals it sets. • Providing scientific and technical consultations to relevant institutions and entities. • Consolidating cultural and scientific ties with colleges, universities, institutions and various scientific bodies inside and outside Libya.
